Features:
The U.S. Army developed the M-1943 Uniform beginning in 1942. Until the introduction of this uniform, the Army had a variety of different combatuniforms for each branch of service. By 1941, the infantry wore the wool flannel shirt and wool serge trousers in winter and the cotton khaki shits and trousers in summer, often with the M-1941 (or Parson's Jacket), and wore low-quartered
leather shoes. Armoured units still were using wool riding breeches and wore
high-lacing boots in some cases, and the Paratroopers were stuck with a general issue HBT coverall with no real suitable footwear.
