Australian style Digger Bush Hat
This Australian style Digger Bush Hat, also known as Ozzie Digger Hat or slouch hat is made from a poly/cotton mix will shade you
from the sun, keep the rays off the face and Fosters cold as well as look great in the summer.
The 'Digger' (Australian slouch hat) hat is nearly as old as the Australian fighting man. It was originally made
from rabbit-fur felt or wool felt, is turned up on the side, possibly to keep it out of the way of a lance held in a stirrup cup or a rifle
& bayonet carried over the shoulder).
Contrary to popular belief the word 'slouch' does not refer to the turn-up (leaf). The word slouch refers to any hat with a brim that droops down.
The brow can be secured either side by press studs to keep the brow from flopping around. It has an adjustable chin strap and a mini zip up pocket in the lining.
