Fold your cotton bandana into a head scarf, a neck tie, a sweatband or a skull cap.
Here's three of the most common ways to to do it.

Fold it into a triangle and wear it as a hair scarf or a neck tie. |

Fold it several times until it is about 2 inches wide and use a square knot to secure it as a headband.
|
|
|
Fold one corner under until its tip is about 5 inches away from the opposite corner.
Place this 5-sided shape on your head with the folded edge just above your brow. |
