The Hand-forged Swedish small forest axe combines old world craftsmanship with a 20-year guarantee!
Each Gränsfors Bruks axe is hand crafted, one at a time, until the smith is satisfied and adds his maker's mark. If it fails for any reason during its first 20 years, the smith replaces it out his own pocket!
Forged of special Swedish steel for axes, the blades are tempered and annealed to the right toughness.
No ''cover-up'' grinding or paint hides the forge marks.
Handles are first quality hickory and a grain-leather sheath is provided with each axe.
The Small Forest Axe has a 3-1/4'' face; a 19' handle with a 1-1/2 lb. head.
It's just right for kindling, splitting or trimming small limb-wood.
