VICTORINOX Mariner & Skipper Knives

VICTORINOX has developed two special knives for seamen: Skipper and Mariner.
Their exceptional quality has proved invaluable in many situations when sailing and boating. The integrated shackle opener, for example, permits simple opening of large and small shackles. The tips act as marline spikes and can also be used as an emergency awl. The cylindrical grinding of the large, lockable blade makes it possible to sever even thick ropes.
Other important tools for use on board are: Phillips and other screwdrivers, can opener, bottle opener, prick-pierce bodkin, and wire insulation stripper.

The Skipper model is provided additionally with practical pliers with wire cutter and squeezer.
The roughened, ergonomic casing gives the knife an extremely good grip, which is a considerable advantage when used on the water.
Skipper and Mariner are 2 cm longer than conventional 'Swiss Army knives' (91 mm) yet they can be considered lightweight with approx. 150 grams and therefore also easy to carry in the convenient belt case. The blades of the Victorinox knives are made from top quality stainless steel.
